and really if it comes down do business (or law) talk they definitely explicitely stated the rules and applied them

go ahead.. and read: "must win the hand [...] with royal flush"

but.. you did bet an uncalled amount and thus your _bet_ has won the hand in contrast to a royal flush winning a show down

its a simple as that.. if thats still confusing.. to me its sound and logical
